Coaches and copywriters, I’m going to hand you pure gold—a simple content system that’ll make your life easier.
But before I do that, I’ve got a hair-raising tale to unload.
Do you remember back in 2020 when the lockdowns hit?
Sure you do.
Everyone and their mother freaked out and started yelling at you for being within six feet of them (as if germs couldn’t travel further than that).
I decided to avoid the insanity, hunker down in my little house in the country, and write my butt off. There were more important things in life—like getting more people to read my posts.
And to me, that was the big problem in the world, not some germ.
At that point, I’d been blogging for seven years, and my results weren’t spectacular, to say the least. Man, it stings when you pour that much time into a skill and it doesn’t produce.
It wasn’t because I was lazy; it was because I was blogging mindlessly.
Yep, I’d caught a blogging disease called accurately “content chaos”—a mountain of unfocused writing that gives nothing back.
My remedy? Work harder.
And I did. I wrote even more, convincing myself that more output would fix the problem.
Guess what? The silence from the masses was deafening.
Yep, the three “N’s” happened: Nobody. Nothing. Nada.
Then I caught a lucky break. I read a post by some dude who was killing it with his blog. This guy was writing half as much as I was and beating the system.
He was publishing just one 2,000-word post a week, and his traffic was booming.
His philosophy was simple: “Stop creating. Start compounding.”
It wasn’t a revolutionary idea—it’s been around since the first blog emerged. Most of us know this stuff but ignore it because it looks too complex or isn’t as fun as writing.
Who knows?

The Simple Content System Revealed
To show you how simple this content system for coaches and Copywriters really is, here’s the plan:
- Write one cornerstone piece of content.
- Build a small promo workflow around that post.
- Publish one related post each week.
That’s the whole system!
I’d tell you that you can stop reading now, but I’ve got more info that’ll speed up your progress. So… keep reading—or miss out.
Because here’s the truth: my content disease didn’t die a horrible death. Nope, the monster is still lurking in the labyrinth.
And any guru who promises their course or formula will make blogging “easy” is a liar.
There, I said it!
There’s nothing easy about any kind of writing—ever. (Unless you let AI do it for you.)
The writer Steven Pressfield calls it “a daily battle with the beast.”
Look, I’m not promising you miracles. You’ll still have to work at this. But if you keep at it, you’ll find your rhythm.
Yeah, there will still be setbacks—but that’s the nature of building anything worthwhile.
In my case, I started gaining traction—not from grunting and groaning over my work, but from consistency.
Regular… Daily… Consistency.
If you want the key to the kingdom, here it is: slow and steady wins the race.
You don’t want to write like a mindless high-speed blender, churning out piles of fluff. You want focused, planned content with real depth.
So if you’re still reading, friend-o, I’m going to show you my One-Post-a-Week Content System—a simple, sustainable framework that helps you get results.
Not overnight, but over time.
Here’s how it works…

Depth Builds Trust (Reforged in Fire)
Yeah, you’re thinking, “What’s so special about a simple content system?”
Here’s the truth: while everyone else is farting out digital noise by the ton, you’re writing your ass off. You’re crafting one meaningful post a week that cuts out the bull and gets into people’s hearts.
Since 2022, AI has turned the people into creative typists who think they’re artists. They think that because they can write a prompt they’re destined for greatness.
Well, guess what, Chumley, everyone is becoming a prompt-a-holic, because it’s easy to do.
But not you.
You’re the maverick, the storyteller who still bleeds humanity onto the page. You walk the razor’s edge and laugh in the face of convenience.
Because you know that well crafted words can spark motion. They can get some lazy, bored sluggard off the couch who’ll shout at the world, “I’m better than this, you mother-grabbers!” I want the golden ring on the carousel of life!
When your words spark motion—when they get someone to change, act, or think. And you become something bigger. An authority. With a capital, flaming, “A.”
Yes, It’s Happened to You
You’ve felt it before. That post that lit your brain up. The one that made you whisper, “Crap! I can be better!”
And then, you bookmarked it…Shared it….And went back for more.
And one day while wandering past a magazine rack you gasp in amazement. BOOM!
“There he is!” you shout with a drooling mouth. That same guy who put you on the new path of greatness is on the cover of Success Magazine.
And guess what pal? He didn’t get there by letting ChatGPT nurse-maid him. He did it by sweating over his keyboard while banging it’s keys.
That’s the kind of creator you want to become. Some one who rises above the noise and shares his art with the world.
And that, my friend, is how legends emerge.

How One Weekly Post Can Beat the Crap Out of Social Media Hopping
Remember earlier when I said writing is hard? Well, let me remind you again — WRITING IS HARD. Especially when you do it right.
Even YouTube is a graveyard of half-baked, talking heads who are spewing out junk.
Ever watched some schmuck walking down the street, filming himself on a cell phone? Yeah… that ship has sailed. It’s stale and sinking – fast.
When you create real content — the kind that takes time, thought, and craft — you separate yourself from the noise. You stop blending in and start building authority.
And the benefits of doing it the right way? They’re massive. Let’s take a look at a few of them, shall we?
Why One Weekly Post Dominates the Social Media Bores
The Compounding Effect
Each post becomes long-term real estate — something that keeps working for you.
It can be repurposed into emails, referenced by others, and continue pulling in new readers for years.
Sustainable Workflow
One solid post a week keeps you consistent without burning out.
When you’re not spread thin, your creative energy goes toward quality instead of quantity.
Platform Independence
Stop building someone else’s platform — build your own blog, your own house.
That’s the one digital property you actually control.
Repurposing for Profit
A single post can turn into an eBook, a video script, or another saleable asset.
Every word you write can pull double (or triple) duty if you plan for it.
Better Engagement
Publishing less gives you space to study what works — which ideas resonate, what sparks replies, and how to refine the next one.
The less noise you make, the louder your signal becomes.
The Right Audience
You don’t want everyone — you want the people who get it.
Quality writing naturally filters out the lookers, lurkers, and scoffers.
The Simple Content System Go With the 4- Step Flow
Now’s it’s time to bring out the big guns. So far we’ve been merely chit- chatting but now, let’s play poker, Ok?
Step 1: Plan Out Your Post
You need to pick the one core idea your clients would gladly pay you for. It should be a real world problem that keeps them awake at night that you know you can help them with. Here’s a formula you can use, if it makes it easier for you:
“Something your clients care deeply about + Something that fits into your area of expertise.”
The more chronic and plaguing the problem – the better!
Step 2: Publish – Put Your Goods Out There, Baby!
A lot of people are putting their posts on LinkedIn Posts or Substack. That’s great if you want to build their platform.
Just recently, I lost my Quora account and I wrote a ton for those egg suckers. I wrote on it for almost a decade, and now it’s gone. They said I violated their rules, or something like that. I don’t know how that could be possible,. because all I was doing was writing stuff exactly like I’m doing now.
But BOOM, it is gone. No-more-no. Singing the choir invisible. Bereft of life…That sort of thing.
But here’s the good thing, I’ve had my blog longer and I’ll never invest my time in an external site again. If it’s not on my own personal blog, then forget about it.
That’s why I’m writing this post, because I’d rather write a high-quality post, then try to be on all those other sites.
Your Own Blog is Paramount
I know some of you may not have a blog, or your own site to write on, but when you do get the money to have your own site – do it. Take that content off of Medium or Quora, and move it over to your site, if you can.
So, once you publish your post, don’t sink it into a rented platform. Publish it where you have the most control, on your own site.
When you upload your post you can do the usual formatting by adding headings, a good headliner, and relevant images. You should also optimize it for SEO purposes.
Almost all WordPress sites have plugins for YOAST SEO services. Of course you have to pay for the professional services, but the free version works great. The idea of using YOAST is to make your posts crystal clear on their intent, and connect to your readers in a meaningful way.
Remember, at the end of the day, your goal should be to get to the top of the search engines but to connect to your herd. You aren’t trying to connect to everyone, ya know, only the people who will flock to the solutions you offer them.
And believe me, that is a very select audience.

Step 3: Repurpose – Make That Post Work Overtime
This is the best part of using the Simple Content System — turning one magnificent post into a week’s worth of content gold.
After you hit Publish and unleash your brilliance onto the world, don’t just let it sit there gathering digital dust. Put that post to work and squeeze every ounce of value out of it — especially if it turns out to be a hit.
Jump back into your post and pull out your best one-liners, quotes, and insights. Then turn them into micro-content.
Here are a few ideas to get your brain buzzing:
- One Incredible Sentence → Social Caption
- Funny Quip → AI-Generated Comic
- A Short Section → LinkedIn Carousel
- Well-Written Paragraph → Email Message
- An Incredible Post → Video Script
Now see if you can come up with your own remix ideas.
Sheesh! What do I look like — an idea factory?
And hey, you don’t have to copy and paste word-for-word. Take the essence of what you wrote and reshape it for wherever your audience hangs out.
But here’s the deal: every piece you post should point back to the source.
Yep — link it to your Fortress of Solitude. Your Batcave. Your home base.
You know… your blog!
(As if you didn’t already know that. Or did you?)
42% More Engagements in Your Analytics!
In this game, less is more. When you don’t try to write tons of posts a month and create a few stellar ones – they start resonating with fans.
Part of the reason why this is possible, is because you can think about what you’re doing, finally. You’ll have time to study what’s happening and which ideas are good and which ones are dogs.
You are now moving from guessing to understanding.
Noise gets replaced with patterns.
Flowing words instead of mental constipation.
(Ha ha! Got ya, good buddy. You weren’t sleeping…Were ya?)
And when you stop publishing mere noise, your fans respond. And that’s a real good thing.
Conclusion
So, there you have it — your own simple content system for creating one quality post at a time. Like I said earlier, the method isn’t hard to follow. It’s the writing part that’s hard.
A lot of people (and businesses) are taking the easy way out with AI-generated content. But, friend-o, if everyone is using AI, you’ll stand out by writing your own material.
Because with every quality post you write, you get a little better. You’ll discover your voice, your rhythm, and best of all, your crew — the people who love what you’re putting out and will follow you to the ends of the earth.
But first, you’ve got to put in the work.
If you got something out of this Simple Content System post, drop a note in the comments below — it’d make my day.
